On this page I have included a group of serial number references. The reason I have included more than one list, is due to the fact that none of the list seem to agree. I have tried to list the source of the information for each page. Some of the pages are from dealer memos, while others are from historical records. I can not guarantee the accuracy of any of these list, but if you cross reference the list to each other, you should come up with the correct answer.
The Prefix list shows the 3 digit prefix for complete units and all model years. For example: If your serial number starts with 001 that means it is an RTU, or if it starts with 065 it is for a 206G-4 engine for a ZB tractor. I think you get the idea. You will want to print this list so you can take it with you tractor hunting.
Most of these pages are in a "text" format. The text format makes these pages easier to print. Print them out and take them with you.
